It feels like an AC sim. Yesterday, we did a few test laps with the Ferrari 488 and the Porsche Cup car, and the FFB felt super familiar—but better.
I was feeling the body roll a lot more, along with the pitching and squatting of the car, but I could also push the car right from the get-go.
Although I couldn't get VR to work during the stream, when I booted it up today, I was running at 80 fps instead of 40. There are still many issues with VR, and as long as the sim has VR problems, I’m staying away from it.
I’m a hardcore racer, and I love competing online. As it stands now, I believe Evo will get there after the summer—who knows? In the meantime, I’ll keep playing ACC and maybe join a few LMU races.
